Dear Shelly, On behalf of Carlyn, my family, Allie and myself I would like to personally give my greatest thanks to you for  the OUTSTANDING workmanship and GENUINE caring attitude to make our daughters wedding celebration the BEST it could ever be!  I know you made it so very special for Carlyn and Allie.  We would be glad to write more comments to make your business as successful as it can be…because you made our daughter’s wedding beyond the success we thought it could be!

Planning our wedding had become very overwhelming. Signature Events by Shelly really took a lot of pressure off so we could focus on enjoying our wedding day. There were so many things we didn’t have to worry about because Shelly was there to take care of it. You only get one chance to make your wedding great!

Shelly … you are a rockstar! You made our day so PERFECT. I had the vision and you took it and ran. When I walked into the barn for our reception it was so much more than I ever imagined it could be. All of our guests raved about the entire day, the food, the décor and the flow … and you did it all!  I had a vision of what I wanted my wedding to be, and Shelly listened to everything I wanted, then made it even better than I could have imagined! I was planning everything from 1000 miles away, and was becoming overwhelmed by all the decisions and research that planning a wedding takes. Shelly took over all the work of calling for quotes, arranging contracts, delivery and set-up issues, keeping a budget, and basically let me enjoy planning my wedding again.  I literally never even spoke with the caterer, or the chair/table rental until the day of the wedding, she took care of it all. More than a planner, Shelly was at the ceremony site hours in advance in her work boots doing manual labor for me setting up tables and dealing with the buffet set-up. I didn’t have to lift a finger. She will save your sanity, save you time and money, and make your wedding unforgettable!

Thank you so much! Joe and I just wanted to let you know how thrilled we were with our wedding ceremony and reception. Now that all is said and done, we couldn’t be happier. From beginning to end of the entire process, your professionalism combined with patience and your relaxed style were perfect. Any issue that popped up, all it took was a simple phone call to you and we knew it would be handled. Your demeanor put us both at ease and helped us to truly enjoy and live the moment. We were getting married at Kweku’s parents summer home and having our reception in a tent.  There were so many things going on and I was so stressed out.  We had a traditional Hindu ceremony and an American ceremony all rolled into one with all of our guests coming from out-of-town.  When I called Shelly only a month prior to the wedding, she was leaving for a vacation, but she agreed to help me.  When she returned, we met right away and she spent the entire week of the wedding at the summer home making sure everyone showed up when they were supposed to, checking on the decoration items making sure we had everything we needed, fixed the things that needed fixing, made sure we had toilets (which I never thought of!) and then some.  On the day of the wedding she was there very early getting everything set up – exactly as I imagined and coordinated ALL of the other vendors!  Kweku and I had nothing to worry about, it was absolutely perfect!!  I would recommend Shelly to anyone!  She is very diligent and hard working.  She understood what I wanted and made it happen.

We really liked Shelly. She is a fun, kind person and is very passionate about weddings. We loved the invitations she designed for us! I was a very controlling bride in respect to how I wanted the venue to look, and she did an amazing job setting up our venue space as I had wanted it that day. Both Jason and I cried when we walked in – it was PERFECT! I appreciated her hard work in making sure that I was stress free! I would recommend her to anyone who needs that extra help to make their wedding or other event run smoothly.

For our August 4th wedding, we hired Shelly Stone as our wedding planner and never looked back! Over the course of 18 months, Shelly was by our side aiding and guiding two wedding novices. It was a blast getting to blend our ideas together utilizing her expertise with my overall concept. It was so great to have someone to go to with questions that could provide a professional response. Shelly was always available no matter the time, or day of the week. She also was so creative in working with our tight budget by utilizing tons of stuff we already had. Not only were we blown away by her, but my family was too; utilizing her for 2 more events. During the whole process Shelly was so calm and level headed, especially on the day of the wedding when we were dealing with weather. I would recommend her to anyone who wants their day to be customized, organized, beautiful, and stress free!

Shelly was our coordinator for our May 21, 2011 wedding in Door County, WI. First of all, she helped me pull my vision together with two thousand miles between us. She understood my ideas and added more sophistication and helped to keep me within our budget. We were able to meet for the first time when she flew to Phoenix for a conference and had a very relaxed and fun dinner. From there on, she knew how to handle vendors, time management, money, and our “wow” factor. On the day of the wedding, she was calm and collected, even when the best man forgot the rings, she solved the problem without me knowing (until afterwards, of course). Shelly worked fantastically with all staff members involved at the resort, outside vendors, and even our bridal party. She handled all situations with professionalism and sincerity. Without Shelly, I’m sure our day would not have been as successful, and I whole-heartedly recommend Signature Events by Shelly!

Best decision I made for our wedding! I hired Shelly for day of service, but felt she gave me way more than what I hired her for! Of course there were some minor bumps on our wedding day…it wouldn’t be a wedding if there weren’t! Shelly took care of everything no worries! The best thing is on Sunday we saw Shelly …she was picking up linens and things. My husband looked and said to Shelly “I thought you were a waste of money but I realized you were the best thing we spent money on!” Yes, my husband (does not like to spend money), appreciated and was so thankful for everything Shelly did for us! If you are feeling overwhelmed, or have too many family opinions flying your way Shelly is there for you and your fiancé. Weddings should be wonderful and stress free! Hire Shelly she will help you make it happen!
